About Our Team and Story

DeHaan Construction Inc was established in 1985 by Darrel DeHaan, following nearly a decade of hands-on experience in the construction industry under the mentorship of his father-in-law. What started as a small, family-run business has evolved into a trusted general contracting firm with a diverse portfolio that includes commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential projects.

Headquartered in southwest Montana, we proudly serve clients across the state through a unique, fully integrated approach. By keeping every phase of a project in-house—from financial planning and design to site work and mechanical systems—we’re able to minimize overhead, maintain strict quality control, and deliver exceptional value at every stage. At the core of our company are five brothers, each contributing their own expertise to the team. What began as their father’s vision has grown into a lasting legacy—one built on craftsmanship, integrity, and hard work.
